Visit: There are a number of important sites of historical interest within easy reach of the Glamorgan campus including the Rhondda Heritage Park for an insight into the history of one of the greatest coal exporting regions in the world in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. St Fagan’s Museum, Cardiff for impressive examples of Welsh historical buildings and Caerphilly Castle for a fine example of a medieval castle.
